I bring you greetings from Headquarters Southern Command to you, Gbetsoolo NiiAshiteyAkomfra III and Naa Ogbedei Srawah I and the good people of Teshie on the Media Launch of 2024 Homowo Festival. As stakeholders in the positive development of this Community, we wish you the best of celebrations. It is our prayers that all and sundry, both Home and Abroad will contribute to the eventual success of the Teshie Community beyond the festivities to attain your shared objectives and aspirations for now and generations yet unborn.

Today, in the spirit of Unity and togetherness, I encourage you to use the 2024 Homowo Festival as a channel to strengthen the people in pursuit of a better life. United you are strong and resilient to overcome challenges and achieve greatness. Divided you risk losing the very essence of your community and the future generation will not be generous to the legacy of their forebears. Let us celebrate our diversity, embrace our differences and stand together as one people. Together as stakeholders and developmental partners, we will contribute to make this festival a resounding success and a shining example of the power of cohesion.
