WHY AKATOI COULD NOT ENTER HEAVEN OR HELL
Akatoi was a master craftsman and a Blacksmith. He was so skilful with his work that people travelled from all part of the GaDangme Kindom to engage his services.
Over time, Akatoi grew headstrong and cruel. He moved his forgery to the outskirts of the town and dealt wickedly with any unwanted visitor.
In spite of Akatoi's bad character the Headmaster of the local School always sent some student to the fodgery to learn from the master craftsman. Sometimes, this young students like to play with the big hammer at the workshop and this annoys Akatoi very much but he could do nothing about this. One day an Angel visited the workshop. He pretended to be hungry and pleaded for some food and water from the owner. For the first time in his life, Akatoi offered some useless water and a piece of badly burnt cassava to the visitor. The visitor thanked Akatoi and asked him to demand one wish.
Without thinking twice, Akatoi said l hate it when visitors come here to borrow things. I also hate it when visitors come to sit in my lazy chair. I want you to cast a spell on all may items so that anybody who tries to use them gets punished. The Angel said: "thy will be done!" and then vanished. Later, some school boys came to the workshop to borrow a sledge hammer. Akatoi gleefully pointed the hammer and said it's there you can take it.
As soon as the boy's hand touched the hammer, the hammer automatically started strowing him up and down till the boy collapsed. This became the norm till SATAN himself arrived at the workshop one day.
Akotoi immediately offered offered the dreaded lazy chair to SATAN.
As soon as Satan's sat, the punishment started. Come and see the devil himself bouncing up an down like a basket ball. Eventually satan managed to free himself then disappeared with the speed of lightning.
